Genevieve sings

It's no secret that Genevieve loves to sing. She really shocked us when she sang her ABC's all the way through when she was 18 months old. Last night she started singing Jesus Loves Me. When I heard her sing it for the first time it brought tears to my eyes, it was so unbelievably sweet! It was so cute that we just had to call NaNa and PaPa and have her sing it to them. This is her singing Jesus Loves Me.

At night at Incredible Pizza

About two weeks ago a vendor for the company I work for put on a customer appreciate night at Incredible Pizza. So of course, I wouldn't have to cook dinner, so we went. A girl I work with was kind enough to bring her camera to capture the fun and then share the pictures with us. We had a good time playing all of the games and driving the go carts. Genevieve had fun rolling balls up and down the ski ball game. This picture was taken in front of that game.

Our new dining room table

Our new dining room table finally arrived today. I called the furniture store to see if it came in they told me that only the chairs had made it in. I was so disappointed, especially since last night I moved out the old dining room table and cleaned the hardwood floors in preparation for the new table's arrival. But we were determined to at least get the chairs today. So Michael, on his day off, went to get the chairs and to our suprise the table actually did come in! I couldn't wait to get home and see it. It has 6 chairs and is 54" square, we absolutely love it! If you look real closely you can see our cat Shay sitting underneath the table.

Genevieve's 2nd birthday party with the family

Genevieve had a great time at her second 2nd birthday party. Her NaNa and PaPa (my mom and dad), Uncle Troy and Aunt Angie (my brother and sister-in-law), cousins Jeff and Cody (Troy and Angie's kids), and her Grandpa Jerry (Michael's dad) all came to visit. We all went to Hideaway Pizza for lunch and well...ate pizza. Then we went to our house to open presents and eat cake. Here are some pictures of this day, hope you enjoy!

Genevieve's 2nd birthday party at school

Genevieve celebrated her 2nd birthday on September 12th. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! Since we weren't going to do a huge party like we did last year, I decided to take the afternoon off and take a cupcake cake to her and her school friends. Genevieve is so into Dora the Explorer right now, so I've deemed birthday #2 the "Dora birthday."
